I noticed that my EQ button on my N2 started to work on and off. and then I notice the toggle controller to the left does the same thing now. Do I need a new faceplate, or is there an easy fix for this?

now my angle buttons stopped working, and only the eject, volume, and open/close button work now.

I'm going to venture a guess and say that the ribbon harness is starting to go.

is there a write up on how to replace that?

somewhere on this site. Also if you are the original owner of the n2 and the system has not had the free flex cable upgrade done. Then I would call pioneer. They'll replace the cable for free.

I called them earlier today actually, and they gave me the info to get the flex cable upgrade done. Im unistalling it tonight, and shipping it out tomorrow

Just make sure that the ONLY thing you send them is the headunit itself. No wiring, no discs, and no brain. Plenty of people have had problems getting those other things back.

Im not even sending them the faceplate. Headunit only wiring harness stays here too
