I have an AVIC-D2 that I'm trying to power on the bench with a power supply.

The unit does not light up or display but the fan is turning.

Is there an internal fuse or is there something I'm missing here?

Have you connected BOTH power wires?

I found the problem which was an easy fix.

The dispalay ribbon cable was making poor contact.

After cleaning the contacts and reinstalling, the unit is working again!
