i have used the correct Metra bypass and used it.. sub works great, except that it pops when the radio powers on. I have plugged both blue/white wires on the Metra bypass to the blue Remote Wire on the D3 so that it receives power when the D3 receives power.. is this correct???

Just put @ 2k resistor inline with the factory amp

i just made a post about this but i cant locate it right now.

if the 2k doesnt work then u need 2 resistors of the same resistance.

i used 1.4k

remote wire from avic------resistor----remote out to sub---resistor---ground.

doing this halves the voltage to 6v which the factory amp needs to turn on but not pop good luck
