I installed a D3 with the 920 XM Receiver about three weeks ago. Three or four times now I have had the audio from the xp fade in and out for 30 sconds or so, then I lose audio completely. I still get all of the data on the screen, just no audio. all other audio sources continue to work fine. Shutting the car off and restarting (removing Acc power) fixes it.

I have checked the connections on the XM receiver and on the D3. Anything else I can check?

Thanks

Do you get the XM no signal static or no sound at all?

No sound at all. Song titles, artists, etc still display and change. I can change channels, just seems like the audio signal between the 920 and the D3 gets lost.

Doesn't seem to be signal related. This has happened in areas where I usually have a good signal.

Did you try the reset hole on the XM tuner? Mine did that one time a couple years ago, I reset it and it never happened again. Could be a coincedence but its easy enough to try

I have been getting complete XM Sound Blackout. Radio is still recognised by Z2, still get song name/artist, but no sound. Restart the car and sound returns. This is on the P10XMT NavTraffic Tuner. Also loose Traffic feed.

Is your IPbus cable firmly attached to both units?
