I just got my D3 yesterday in my 2005 Altima, and I'm loving it so far, works great. However, I know it comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty and I have a lifetime warranty from my installer but does anyone know if you can extend Pioneer's one year warranty?
Warranty?
No, I don't think you can.
Man, that's a bummer ![]()
I just hope nothing goes wrong!
personaly if i get 2 years out of it i will be happy, but even after a year, i tend to just upgrade anyway, and sell my old one
Well the guy who installed my unit called me back today and said he talked to Pioneer and they do offer an extra year warranty you can add on for 145.00. I don't think it's worth it so I'm not going to do it but..
you should look these things up before you say so.

1 - I didn't say No, that's definitely not possible... I said I didn't think so. There's a HUGE fucking difference.
2 - "you should look these things up before you say so" Who the fuck do you think you are? You came here asking us for help, and you tell us to look shit up before we answer you? Hey... Here's an idea. Look it up yourself before you ask us the question, asshole.
"The Guy" who installed your stuff is a douche. Pioneer is an electronics company, not an insurance company, they DO NOT sell extended warranties. If the shop offers you one, it is through a third party, not Pioneer

Interesting, I'll try and call up Pioneer and see what they say

If you didn't really know the answer, you shouldn't act like you do. I didn't look it up because tons of people on here have D3's and I would have expected someone might already know that without having to go to Pioneer.
Why don't you calm down man? You seem a bit high-strung
You are kind of being a douche IAN Y.
Yeah I'll admit I was rude now that I look back on it and I do apologize but he didn't have to flip out on me..a simple "that's why I said I don't think so" would have been fine
A normal person might have.
But that's not how I roll.
