D3 install question/07' Yukon

I had a D3 installed in my 2007 Yukon several months ago, and that install included the bypass so that I can watch DVDs while the vehicle is in motion. Since that install, I've had a problem with the battery on the Yukon going dead after @ 14 hours of the engine not running. I've had the Yukon back to the dealership 3 times and they've yet to find the issue. I'm curious as to if it is possible that the D3 is somehow causing this issue.

Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

Have you unplugged the D3 and let it set overnight and see if the battery was dead?

If your lazy, just remove the fuse to it.

It's possible that the interface that was used for the install is causing the problem. There was an issue with them doing exactly what you're describing.

Ok, I brought the Yukon back to the dealership, and after 4 days of them having it, their answer was exactly what I figured it would be, the D3. They claim that the radio was drawing 110milliamps. So, I brought it back to the company that installed the D3 for them to test it and they aren't seeing that much of a draw, they're seeing only a 40milliamp draw. They changed out my chime box, but said that they didn't think there was anything wrong with the one that was originally installed. I've been reading the Troubleshotting section and have noticed a good amount of posts that deal with battery drains after the D3 was installed. Anyone have anymore insight as to why the D3 *might* cause this to happen???

Thanks!

by chance do you have an overhead screen? for some reason i remember there being an issue with installing an overhead in newer chevys and the domelight wire drains the battery.... or something like that. like i said im going off a vague memory.

No, I don't have an overhead screen. However, I do have DVD players in my headrests. I also have a factory Bose system, and I've read a couple of posts that thought that maybe their battery issue was being caused by the Bose amp. I haven't tested that theory yet though. I want to see if just changing the chime box helps at all.
