happy holidays everybody. i just installed a d3 today to take the place of my n3 and ran into a problem and need assistance please. when i play the radio, i can hear everything but only hear bass when i play a cd from the cd changer or play a dvd from my dvd changer. am i missing something? the sound from the radio is working but if i use an external pioneer unit add on, all i hear is the subwoofer. help me please!! thank you!

Are you using two amps? One for the speakers, one for the sub? You might have used the power antenna lead to turn on your speaker amp instead of the system remote wire. Try going to the menu, select the setting tab, and hit the ANT CNTRL button. Switch it from tuner to power. See if that fixes the problem.

Try what ^ said. If that dosnt work. Pull out your 2 white wire and a 9 volt, if your speaker pops, than your internal amp in your D3 is junk.

If the amp on the D3 was bad, it probably wouldn't power the speakers when in radio mode, it just wouldn't power them at all.

Does it play when you try playing a disk in the D3's disk drive, not on one of the external changers?

HiFiSi... you are the man!!! i did what you said about the ANTto power and it worked like a charm! thank you! the d3 blows my old n3 away hands down especially with the bluetooth phone option. THANKS AGAIN!!!
