So far I havent seen any new Navi's but the small portable one. What deas this mean, no AVIC D4 this year??? No AVIC-Z3 ??? Was hopin they would upgrade us a lil bit so I can get a new navi. Oh well I guess the got some tricks up they sleeves.

I'm disappointed in the lack of new double din NAV announcements from Pioneer. Alpine already announced theirs and I was hoping for news on what the AVIC D4 was going to be all about.

I wonder what upgrade they are going to do for Z owners. Our interface is a bit outdated.
I like the colorful and 3d interface on the AVIC F500BT.
For the Z3, can a simple upgrade disc change our interface or is that too complex to do off of a simple DVD for Z1/Z2 owners?

The Z3 was in Pioneer's brochure at the CES booth. No hardware changes, just a software update like the Z1->Z2.
They also said they will show more navigation in April and it will be released mid-year, so I would guess that is the D3 replacement. The one in the link above is a portable nav that integrates into existing stereos

I hadn't seen it. The 9mm plasma he talks about looks sick in person. Wonder what thats going to cost
