Everytime I start my truck and the Z2 starts it states the the bluetooth device is connected. This happens all the time, even if I dont have my phone with me. Everything works and I can live with this but I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue.

That is the Z2 reporting that the bluetooth module is connecting to it, not a phone. If you have your phone, it still show that message, and then show a message that your phone is connected to the bluetooth module.

You'll always get the first notification if the bluetooth receiver is connected to the avicZ2. It's the second notification, stating that the phone is tethered to the receiver, that should only appear if your phone is with you/on. As far as I'm aware, there is no way to suppress either notification.

Thanks fellas I didnt know that the two messages were separate, I just wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong with my Z2.
