I have a 12 disc changer that I hooked up to my unit. When it pulls up the the screen to select the disc number, the 3 disc is always showing as selected. I push the other disc and it works, but the disc 3 is always selected. Is this normal, or do I have a defective unit. I just bought my unit?

What disk changer is it? Is it hooked up via an IP-BUS cable?

it is the priemer 12 disc. not sure about the model number. I bought it about 2-3 years ago. Yes I used and I Bus. I had to buy one. Not a cheap cable.

So you can select and play any of the other disk slots with no problem, it's just that the display never changes from disk 3?

Yes, Everything works fine, it is just showing that I disc 3 is always selected. I also am having major problems with the bypass. I have another post about that problem.

That's kinda odd. I don't know what to tell ya, really.

Shouldn't have anything to do with the bypass, though.
