I have an avic n2 and recently the screen has been going fuzzy then white with no functions available. Resetting the deck (disconnecting the face) sometimes brings it back. When it comes back online if you close the screen and then open it, it comes out fuzzy then will eventually turn white. I think that it is a processor problem but I am not sure. Not sure what else it might be or if anyone else has had these problems.

It sounds like your flex cable is bad. Go to www. Pioneerelectronics.com and it will walk you through the way to ship your unit to be repaired. It is free, once over the lifetime of the unit. All N1 and N2 and N3's. Good luck.

PS if you bypassed it, they will charge you $200 bucks to unbypass it.

Thanks for the info! I did though forget to mention that the cd's and/or nav disc will sometimes cut out as well. I Think whats happening is the reader isnt sliding across the entire disc, it recognizes that the cd is there but only plays some of the tracks. And with navi the screen will turn blue then say please insert the apropriate disk. Not sure if that has anything to do with the flex cable or not, kind of why I thought that it might be a processor.
