Had my D3 installed today. Also picked up a new Nano. Loaded some movies on it which do play properly from the iPod. Upon connecting the iPod to the D3 in order to play, the screen turns black with a message to use the iPod for full use. Video plays on the iPod while audio is outputted through the car speakers. TV out is enabled on the Nano.

Ideas?

I did spend some time browsing through search results with no answer. This is not bypass related because I have full GPS functionality. If its something you might know certain keywords for, please share. Every result page that I found is predominantly bypass related.

I know some people had problems with the new IPODs. Most say you are better off not using a current generation model.

when the black screen comes on "use ipod for full control "start the movie from the ipod and disconnect and reconnect the cable. make sure shuffle is turned off also and tv out is enable/on
