Hey guys and gals! Great site! Quick and easy question for some of you. I did the bypass (thanks to this website) and it works great! The only problem that Im having is that when the voice directions is active while using the nav, when the voice comes on its not muting the stereo. Is this the way its supposed to work? Im thinking that before I did the bypass it would mute the stereo. Ive checked the setting and cant find anywhere that mute on/ off would be an option. Thanks in advance for your help.

It should be in the volume settings, then in the menu, settings menus, I think it is under mute settings. You can select full mute, attenuate etc and also choose which spealers the voice outputs to.

Okay thanks! I will check it out. I dont know that I have ever seen that setting, the only setting close to that, that I remember is where you can control the level of the ladys voice and then the level of the beep, but Ill check there again. Thanks!!!
