No night mode?

For some reason, my unit never switches in to night mode. It's always as bright as the sun, no matter whether my lights are on or off. Could something have been hooked up wrong by the installers? I've got the D3 in a 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Any help would be wonderful!

Thanks!

Sounds like your installers didn't hook up your illumination wire. Then again, I don't know if your car even has an illumination wire, but you should take it back to them and tell them that you want it hooked up since you paid for installation.

Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking... They kind of did a half-ass job of the whole thing anyway (Circuit City, go figure). I'm pretty comfortable dealing with the electrical system in there now, I've since done the bypass and installed the bluetooth system myself, so if they prove to be morons once again, I may have to do it myself. I'll take it over to them and see what the deal is.

Thanks again!

Have them hook up the orange/white wire on the d3 to the green/white (I think) in the car. The wire he needs to connect to will go to 12 volts when the parking lights are turned on.
