Problem with volume after hitting brakes and turn signal

I have a Z-2 with ipod and xm adapters along with a Metra harness

to go along with the factory Infinity amp system in my 08 Jeep Wrangler.

The problem is that when I hit the brakes the volume drops and then

goes back to normal once I release it. Also the seat belt warning light

comes on when I apply the turn signal. I checked all the connections

and everything is fine and also I did the 2 wire bypass which works great.

I cannot see any problems with the setup. Any suggestions from you guys

would be great. These problems only started after I installed the system.

Temporarily disconnect the avic from the interface you used. See if the problems persist. If they do and the wiring is all correct then your interface is bad. IF the problem stops with the avic disconnected, then the avic's the problem (doubtful).

Sounds like steering wheel control issue?

Do you have a SWI-OS or something?

There are no steering wheel controls. One thing I noticed is the problems happen more when the lights are on at night. I checked all my grounds

and the xm and ipod are wired right to the battery. I called Metra and

they could not help me at all.

I ordered a new interface harness from Peripheral and hoping that

the Metra interface is bad.I installed a lot of systems in my car and this

one is the strangest.

maybe factory system that readjusts volume with speed?
