Problem with my 2 wire bypass — AVIC411 Forum Archive

Ok so i pulled the mute wire and grounded it as well as the light green wire. But now for some reason my nav shows me as constantly moving even i9f im sitting parked. Plus its like a mile off from where i really am. Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem?

Try a reset

also....what software version are you running?

THE LATESt SOFTWARE I THINK 2.14? i believe i did the update and i tried resetting like 10 times

Is your VSS hooked up?

VSS IS GROUNDED besides my car has no point to connect the vss to. It's an 06 charger

Unground your VSS. Just leave it hanging there with the end covered in some way if you aren't going to use it.

Then go into hardware settings and clear all the calibration stuff. Drive around for a couple hundred miles to let it learn and see if it works better
