I have a mac mini hooked up to the avic d2 aux input. I have tried endlessly to get a straight answer from pioneers customer service without success. I need to find out the correct resolution to set the mac at to display correctly(i have a custom resolution script so I can set it as needed) and the d2 has Full Zoom Normal and Wide aspect ratios available. However, selecting wide just stretches the normal view to fit. If I put the correct resolution on the mac will it push the d2 to display the entire screen while in normal mode? or am I stuck with the bars like a 4:3 tv? Any help or step in the right direction is GREATLY appreciated!

I believe the resolution is 500x240? That's what it is on the D3, at least. IIRC, the D2 was the same?

thanks for the info and as far as the stretch? if I set the comp resolution to 500x240 will it take up the entire screen without stretching it?

If the resolution is set to the screen size, there should be nothing to stretch, right? I'm not sure, though. I've never dealt with car computers and LCD sceens, etc.

well right, in theory. I'm just hoping that it uses the whole screen and doesn't squeeze the 500x240 into the "NORMAL" mode. we'll see thanks.
