hello guys I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I had my avicn1 flex cable replaced 14 months ago by pioneer. A few days ago the screen stop coming on (lighting up). The screen is pitch black. My question is the bulb gone or is it the cable. One pioneer tech mentioned it might be the fluorescent bulb. If it is where is it located on the header display and of where can i get one. Apparently pioneer will not sell it to anyone. Please help.

If you use a flashlight, can you see what is supposed to be on the screen? If you can, its the flourescent bulb. If you can't, its something else

Thank you for taking the time out to help me.

I saw the first nav screen when the sun shined over the screen today. So you are correct it is the fluorescent. Where are they located exactly and where can I get them. By the way everything else seems to work.

They are behind the lcd panel, good luck getting the tubes and the confidence to do it.
