Newbie with ?? Sorry if this has been covered but I scanned dozen's of pages and didn't catch it posted.
I am buying a used 3/06 Z1 that already has a light circuit bypass for it so I don't think it has the BT update. My question is if I install the unit with the light circuit bypass AND the 2-wire bypass will I have any problems? My reason for doing this is when I do the hard drive update with the Z2 software I don't want to have to dismantle my dash all over again. I figure I'll see the parking brake warnings but I can live with that until I can afford the new hard drive for the swap. Also, will the light circuit bypass affect the new setup once installed or does it have to be removed? I know it's sound like the lazy way to do it but I have alot of stuff on my dash that has to be taken apart (bass knob, center channel, Edge Tuner, LED's, as well as the stock switches). Any help is appreciated. BTW this site is the Mecca for AVIC owner's!
