That is the message i get on my n3 when i start my car up.

It was working fine when i accidently pressed the reset button for some dumb reason. I thought i fixed it all back to normal and everything i had to place the navi cd back in so it could do it's thing. but when i start my car every time now a black screen comes on with Caution screen may appear in reverse at the bottom. It is very annoying when i'm trying to listen to my ipod. I can fix it by pressing navigation then going back to the ipod control but i would rather it work right the first time. Is there anything i can do?

Is your reverse wire connected properly?

yes it has worked properly for several months atleast 8 months

now that i have accidentlly reset it, it is not working properly for some reason

I just had an idea. I googled my problem and pulled up the pioneer manual for the avic n3. I found my my problem in the section dealing with backup camera, but it had no solution for the problem. I believe this has something to do with the backup camera (that I do not have) how can i get to the settings of the backup camera?

If you read through that manual it should tell you how to enable the camera. Just do the opposite.

I figured it out

somehow the camera was turned on and it was screwing up the whole thing
