hey guys hows it going? i read the other posts about this issue and i am still having problems. I just bought my ipod today and it had version 1.1 already installed. How can i get this back to 1.0.2?

i followed the instructions at http://spr33.co.uk/wp/archives/downgrad ... re-102-101 and i still cant get it. It never asks me to if i want to use an older version. it always asks if i want to restore it to the current version, which is 1.1. anybody have any ideas?

A, turn off automatic updates in Itunes?

B, delete the current formware 1.1 from the itunes folder and place the 1.0.2 firmware AND signature file in it?

It doesnt allow me to download the Sig file. Im hurting

For music, you can use any ipod. For video, you can use any ipod except the entire 6th gen. The only 6th gen that works is the classic with firmware version 1.0.2
