I installed a AVIC D3 in my 2006 Vette and I just purchased a Z2 for my wifes Toyota Sequioa. I was thinking about taking the Z2 for myself if it can easily be swapped out.

Does anyone know if I can just pop the D3 unit out and plug the Z2 with the existing wiring?

If this is possible I assume the Z2 wiring will work to get the D3 installed in the Toyota.

no, they have different plugs. you will have to rewire it
