I just installed the GEX-P10XMT in my truck. Just for S&Gs I tried it out, to my suprise, it worked. I got all 200some-odd channels.

Is this normal?

old account is still activwe. give it a bit of time the subscription will expire.

XM never had a cance to turn off the tuner if the old owner disconnected the unit before they canceled/transfered service. Mine lasted about two weeks before it turned off. Maybe you'll be lucky and keep free service.

got ours on Ebay & lasted almost 6 months... was great deal... just renewed it.

Going on a month of free xm on a refurbished unit.

Crazy thing about it, is when I goto check connection of xm it says not connected, and no xm numbers are there, but it works fine..
