I recently hooked up the AVIC Z2 and also the ipod interface about two weeks ago. Recently I have been experiencing problems with my car battery going dead. When I jump start the battery seems to be charging, however, the battery is dead the next morning. Is it possible that I screwed up the installation? Thanks.

It could just be that the battery has a bad cell; I would suggest that you get the battery checked out at your local Auto zone or somewhere. I don't see how the unit would be drawing the power down if it powers down when you turn the key to the off position. .....The unit does turn off I presume? As long as power drops from the ACC (Red) wire when the ignition is off, that should kill the unit and the fan.
