Can anyone tell me if I need still need to hook up the pink speed sensor wire when hooking up an N4 with the parking brake bypass?

thanks, so I take it that it won't use the speed from that sensor to lock out the functions when your moving?

No the speed signal wire does not control a "lockout" feature. It is for gps accuracy^^ stated above. Also one of your navi "map views" displays a MPH gauge and two other gauges you choose.

I recently had one of the avic n4's put in my car to replace a stolen unit.

they didnt hook up the speed sensor.
