i thought there was a setting to change the distance for notifications.

Also, is there a setting to change the re-route calculation instead of always wanting me to do U turns?

There is a setting for adjusting your PRESENT LOCATION but I'm not sure if that's what its called . You can use it to move your arrow out ahead . Moving it out will give you earlier prompts . Its best to zoom all the way in on the map before making this adjustment .

Do you have your VSS hooked up?
