I've got a factory installed DVD in my Aviator and it won't work with the Z2.

I had my unit professionally installed and the guys tried a lot of different things and said they just couldn't get it to work.

Is there a special harness that is available or does anyone know how I can get it working???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there are a lot of different ways to get the ford system to still work. unfortunately, sometimes none of them work. in the aviator you usually have to relocate the stock radio and keep it plugged in

There's a new piece from pac C2R-FRD1 allows retaining of the stock dvd player. Even works in vehicles that used to require relocating the stock deck.

It's a 2004 aviator.

70-5520av should be what you need to get the overhead working again. Can't say 100% though since I've not dealt with an aviator/exploder that old recently.
