My Z1 is hooked up properly. I had a professional installation. The dimmer works correctly and I can bypass, etc. I have the XM receiver and the XM radio works great. Here's my question: When I go into the Information screen and then press XM status the screen shows my XM as not connected, no signal, and no radio ID. Any thoughts on how this can be since the XM radio is working great? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My N1 showed the same Thing. The XM worked perfectly though. I'm not sure what the status should read.

I believe...and I'm not positive...that if you don't have NavTraffic, but have XM radio, you get that kind of status. However, I thought that was only on the unit that has both...GEX-P10XMT. I do know I read it in one of my manuals...so you may find information on it there.

My solution was to throw away all manuals and advice and hook up everything logically. I just read the information on the units installed, xm, nav traffic, data and ipod, hooked them up using common sense only. Now and only now do things work correctly and show the proper status.
