Ok im hoping someone can help me to two questions.

I have the AVIC-Z1

and the bluetooth is horrible and it has that annoying echo. so i called pioneer and they sent me a disc it took them about a month to send.I tried installing it and it seems to be a corrupt disc and wont work. im sure the file is available for download somewhere on the internet, does anyone know where?

2nd) Does anyone know if you can make a video ipod work with the z1 to send the video to the unit directly kind of like on the AVIC-N4, or am i sadly stuck to the really slow adapter i have right now with audio only and no video. also has anyone has issues with after connecting your iphone the unit not recognizing it.ive gone through two ipod interface units already and after a while they just stop recognizing the phone but if i plug a new modulke in it works fine..and will give out some time later.

any help would greatly be appreciated

As for Apple products, I'm not sure what the current status on video or iPhones is, so I'll take a back-seat on the rest.

You have to go through the A/V input to get video from the ipod to the Z series, it does not work like the N4
