I have a Z1 that I converted to a Z2. I saw the INFILL G4 demo online and watched a Youtube video.

WOW.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Anyone used it in person?

I think it's all about how much money you want to spend....and how much time you spend in your car...

The G4 has alot more to offer....but from what I know...it is much slower....louder....and harder to install...

BUT..it does have some great stuff...I.E....OBDII software integration...

IMO...I would hold out...and wait for a more tuned in system(OS) than a G4 that is running a full blown OS on a less than fun hardware.....If you need that stuff in a car....then by all means...But I just think it's a bit too edgy as of right now.....I personally think there will be better stuff soon...

What about a full out laptop(possibly touchscreen) tethered to your 3G/EVDO/WiFi cell phone? Or even 3G PCMCIA net card?

I seriously looked into the G4 and found that the reliability just isn't there yet. I need it for busines and am not a computer geek by any means, so I just lug my laptop around for now.
