Yes I removed it. If I go to the Pearl menu, it only shows the Motorola headset. I tried re-pairing (which worked), then removing. Same problem arises.
So maybe I should download the latest BB Handheld software and just blow my BB away clean. It's synchronized on our Blackberry Enterprise Server, so I won't lose much really... If I still get this issue afterwards, well damn. Hmm... I'll try it tomorrow and let yall know.
Ah, I completely read the first topic wrong!
I thought you said you cleared it from the Z2!
Okay, there is no one-off way to remove paired phones from the Z2. You can either pair 5 other phones (the rest will drop off as only 5 can be paired at a time), but since that probably isn't practical, the other way is a Level 3 reset of the Z2.
For more info on resetting, check Pg 179 - 182 in the Z2 manual.
Basically,
- [*:gbny319f]Turn the ignition switch off.[*:gbny319f]Press the RESET button.[*:gbny319f]Start the engine.[*:gbny319f]Touch and hold the MAP button while the start-up screen is displayed.[*:gbny319f]“Clear memory†screen appears.[*:gbny319f]Touch [Reset].[*:gbny319f]Touch [Yes].
The setting values stored in the hard disk drive return to the default or factory settings. After that, the navigation splash screen appears.
Good luck!
