I am trying to install the 'Firmware Update CD' on my AVIC-Z2. I have burnt many of CDs on multiple computers and different CD-R brands and did I changed the burning option to “mode 1†and closed the disc, but my system will not read the cd and reboot and do the down load. It plays music CD's fine. The current version of my AVIC-z2 is 2.0000. Can anyone help me out?

Check your version again, only this time, check the hidden version screen.

I had the exact same problem that was really bugging me. Wasted like 10 cd's and wasted alot of time trying to dl different burning programs, haha.

But you jsut solved my problem. Does this mean that my Z2 already had the updated version?
