I was wanting to know if I could plug my D3 into my laptop so my weather tracking software could track me on that map?

Not by any conventional means...

I mean, if you're like an electrical engineer or something, I'm sure you could crack open the D3 and find some way to route the GPS signal to some kind out output and rig it up to your computer... But for most people, no.
