Forgive my ignorance!

I am looking for the insturment cluster harness and easiest access on my 2004 silverado. Just looking for that evasive VSS wire. I don't think I have overlooked any info. so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

pull the front dash trim from around the cluster and radio area. remove four 7mm bolts holding in cluster. lift out cluster without unplugging it. harness is on the back with plenty of slack to access it
