I have my D3 in a 2007 F150. I love it but a lot of times during the day the screen is VERY hard to read from sun glare. Any suggestions on how to eliminate or reduce?

install a canopy that you can retract over the top of your D3. Just screw it to the dash and pull it out when you need it, Kinda like a travel trailer canopy except smaller, ya know?

Just kiddin, I tinted my windows after I had my D3 installed and it made a huge difference!

You can get anti-glare film, I think 3M makes the stuff. From what I've seen, it's made mainly for laptop computers, so you'd probably have to buy some and trim it to fit.

you can also adjust the screens brightness and dimmer.

mine is at 00 Brightness and +24 dimmer.

You can try up -24 brightness...its up to you

i can see it even with full glare.

Does it dim when the headlights are on? Maybe the dimmer wire is hooked up to ground all the time.

Thanks for the tips. Already have the windows tinted but will try to adjust the brightness. Also didn't think about the 3M film but have used it before on my laptop.
