I just got a 2008 jeep commander with factory sirius radio. I want to take my avic d2 out of my camaro and put it in the jeep. I have made all nessecary connections to get the radio working. The only thing I havnt done is get the sirius hooked up. Would it be possible to connect the factory sirius to my avic?

Is there anyway to use the factory antenna? That is the reason i dont want to get the pioneer unit. Sirius will switch my subscription to the new unit I just dont want to try and change the antenna.

My best guess is probably. I haven't seen the connector on that antenna on that exact car, but you can usually find a way to make the factory antennas work
