I have a D-3 with CD-IB100II going through a GEX-P10XMT. When I go into the menu screen, the ipod button is greyed out and it shows the ext2 button lit. Is there a setting i'm missing or is there a way to get this to read as an ipod? TIA.

Wrong interface. You need a CD-I200. Yes I'm sure, no the interface you have can't be changed in any way shape or form to work with the d3.
