There is a drastic decrease in volume when I play a dvd on my z2. I have to maqx out the volume just to hear the movie. When I go back to any other audio source without turning down the volume I damn near blow the car up. Whats up with that?

I'm no expert in DVD audio formatting, but I have noticed that this seems to be the norm. The Playstation 2 had a setting to boost DVD playback volume, and trust me, you needed it. I've seen it elsewhere, maybe even on the PSP for UMD's if I remember correctly.

On the Z1/Z2, go into the AV settings while watching a dvd and adjust the source volume to the max setting. It helps a little and is really all you can do.
