well I'm about to take my 2005 sierra to get my d3 installed. I dnt knw much about wiring so I'm going to have it installed. I bought all the modules in order to keep my steering wheel controls and bose. what should I aks the installer in order to have piece of mind that he did everything correctly.

Damn I wish some of the installers on this site were close to El Paso I would hire y'all in a second.

thanks for all your advice.

i would ask them if they ever installed your set up before and if they give you an attitude, id go somewhere else that would respect your concerns more. would just have faith in the installer. have u used them before? im sure that he/she knows what they're doing.

Ask to see some of his work. If he is good enough, he will have a portfolio, or like myself, pictures stored on my laptop I can show. If that's not enough, I show them my 2001 Mustang Bullitt #02445. If that's not enough, there's the sales person's Tahoe. Then there's the Boss's Shelby GT500 and Hummer H2. What I am saying is if he is good enough, just seeing some of his (or her) work will more than likely put you at ease.

If you still can't find anyone local (God, I hope you can) then drive up my way, and I will do it for you (for a fee, of course.)
