I installed the bluetooth mod for my Z2 and it worked fine for a while. But now it shows up as connected on the hardware/connections screen but there are no bars. I have the bluetooth box sitting right next to my phone and still no bars and it will not pair up. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Did you check anything on the phone's side? Is the bluetooth antenna turned on on your phone? Is the paired profile still there? Tried re-pairing it?

Yes I tried it with two different phone and neither worked. The profiles were still on the phones but no bars on the hardware page and they would not connect.

Well, then the next step is a level 3 reset of the Z2. It'll clear the Phone list, as well as a horde of other settings listed in the manual, which will hopefully get everything talking again. You'll have to pair your phones again, but no big. And no, you won't lose you address books or music library.
