whenever you hit any buttons it makes that BEEP noise, is there a way to lower it, or even turn it off?! Its really loud on mine and drives me nuts.

Yes, there is. Your owner's manual does such a better job of explaining how to do so than I ever could. There's lots of other good stuff in there, too - check it out.

set guide tone to off

I got mine used and dont actually HAVE the owners manual, sorry if its a noob question, just have no other outlet to find out.

I don't know if that was directed at me, but i have the manual and read it last night after finishing my install. The beep volume is at the lowest setting, yet still beeps.

Oh, I thought you were the OP. He said he bough a used unit with no manual.
