The other day i turned on the car and got this error on black screen when i selected ipod:

ipod * use ipod for full operation

I cannot seem to get rid of it and use my ipod interface on the screen itself. I tried turning off the radio, etc.. (turning off car, re-seating the ipod cable), i even reset the ipod with no luck. i made sure the connection was solid...anything else?

Sounds like you're in the D3's ipod video interface.

Try hitting menu and selecting audio interface?
