any feedback or experiences you guys had with the hard drive upgrade for the z1 into a z2? there are a few ebay sellers with those upgraded drives and i was wondering if anyone had any actual experience or feedback to give on those!!!
there are the 40g and up to 80g but i'll probably just need the 40g since i don't store a ton of music.
I purchased this one and worked great also came loaded with cd's
I purchased that same one as well, its going in with some other components today in fact so I'll have an update later on performance.

I actually bought one of those drives on Ebay back in September 2007 and it still works great. I paid alot more back then. The seller "fran..." was awesome, he shipped fast and the directions he Emailed me were fantastic. I tried to figure out how to download the image from here but couldn't, so I just bought one done already. The drive he sent me was a Toshiba and it has worked without any issues for over 6 month now. 
This guy is still selling them today. I highly recommend him.

do you know if you purchase the z1 upgrade to z2 if it would erase all your songs and #'s, info etc you have stored?
once you upload the z2 CD, is the head light flicker by pass on the z1 gone?
