Compass direction on D3 90 Degrees off

I just installed a D3 and my compass direction is 90 degrees off.

I manage to rotate the compass once from the screen ( I cannot remember how I did it ) but the system did reset itself when I turned off the car and it is 90 off again.

I have the same problem, mine is about 70 degress or so off. not sure what to do. I also tried to reset it and nothing...

Anyone?

A GPS system can tell you where you are but it has no way to which direction you are pointing unless you are moving.

Check your antenna reception. Also try going into connection status and clear all the 3D hybrid settings

there is a way to correct this. i just got mine today, and I live in pittsburgh. first the gps had me in LA, and then NY. So i reset my position manually and after i picked the right position, it asked me to aim, for lack of a better term, my car in the correct direction.

Again, I just got the D3 so I dont know the exact ins and outs just yet. I'll take a look at it again in the morning, and try to get some better instructions back to you tomorrow.
