I just got my D3 installed on sunday in my 05 nissan altima and i saw very faint whiteish gray lines on the screen only on certain screens..so i got it replaced and it has the same issues..any idea why?

You got it replaced because of that? WHOOOOOPS!

That's just what the default background looks like. You can change it to one of I think 10 other backgrounds or upload you own. It tells you how on page 66 of the owner's manual.

haha..wow..i feel like an idiot..my installer was confused as well..so im not the only one..thanks though...im looking through to find some different images right now...hahh...thanks so much for your help

haha..it was an honest mistake...i mean he and a bunch of people had no idea..so im a lil ok about it...lol...newb mistake

I did the same thing with a pioneer 3400 once. Didn't know about the reverse image demo and neither did the customer. We swapped 4 radios and rewwired the harness about a dozen times before actually cracking open the manual and finding the answer. Now I read the manual every time I install something new, and ALWAYS turn the reverse demo off of all pioneer decks....
