I want to register my D3 with Pioneer on their web site and they are asking for the serial number for my unit. I had it installed by a local installer and they did not give this to me. Is there any way to find the serial number through one of the screens on the D3 or do I have to have the installer pull apart the dash to get it?

Is it worth it to register my unit with Pioneer? I figure if any updates happen, then I will get notified.

If you have the box it came in it's on there. I'm not sure about a screen on the unit itsself. Mines being installed I should get it back tommorrow.

The installer did not give me the box the D3 came in. The put all the manuals, etc. in the box the Bluetooth module came in and gave that to me. I assume that was because the Bluetooth module box was smaller.
