I just attempted a DIY with the ROEM-NIS2 harness instead of the metra one. Not a single peep from the Avic from Radio or iPod 
. Any suggestions? I searched and this guy had almost the same problem, but he did manage to get sound from the radio. I can't get sound from anything.

Sorry I wasn't clear, I'm trying to figure out which wires to look at specifically. I did not play with the settings much as I figured it was my wiring problem, should I have played with the settings? If so which menus?

on the AV settings, look for antenna. press that and switch it to the other option. that should work. good luck!
