But... after you pair the phone... are you able to import phone numbers or contacts from a cd and store then to a particular book. I have a v3c razr from verizon and i am anticipating problems.... can this be done.

Answer to your question is NO. The Z1 will only hold 400 contacts. I do not know of any way of importing phone numbers and contacts using a CD and I do not know of a "master" phone book.
