Is anyone here playing MP3's from an external dvd player or changer on their D2? How is the interface? Will the D2 screen display ID3 tags from the audio DVD?

I know that the iPod interface on the D2 is awful, so I'm looking for an alternative high capacity music storage option.

do you mean pioneer brand dvd player, or other brand name?

because other brand name will only show the dvd player menu. exactly like if you were using your home tv.
