Hi guys, first of all let me say that this is a great site and regarding my issue I did search before making this post.

Equipment:

N3 Avic with a n2 brain

Issue:

My problem is that when I first started my N3 the LCD opened up perfectly and the touch screen was working flawlessly when I turned it off the monitor stayed open (dont know if thats normal) then when I attempted to turn it back on, the LCD went to its closed position. When I attempted to open it again it opened but on in its horizontal position I tried hitting the button next to the eject button and that does nothing but change the display showing am stations and the - and + buttons do nothing and if I hit the eject button it just goes in and out but does not tilt up.

Can anyone help this poor man out? Please!!!

I thing it maybe the Flex cable , or the loading assy.

when I took it out the car I noticed that the when the LCD is coming it seems to want to put the LCD up but the gears or something keep it from going.

everything seems to be working fine except for that.

Is there a way to make sure its definitely the ribbon cable? Everything seems to work besides the LCD. Also the tilt button and +/- buttons do nothing.
